ATLANTA (AP) - A shooting outside an Atlanta store has left one man dead and another injured.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the shooting took place early Monday morning outside the Discount Food Mart in southwest Atlanta. Atlanta police Lt. Ricardo Vazquez says officers found the victims less than a mile (1.6 kilometers) apart.
Vazquez says one man was found in a car in the store’s parking lot, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died. The other man was shot in the leg and tried to drive to Grady, but crashed his car. He was later taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Vazquez says police do not know what led to the shooting.
The victims haven’t been identified. No arrests have been made.
