SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities have identified a 56-year-old Utah man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after his neighbor was shot and killed during what police described as a drunken argument at a Murray apartment complex.

Murray police tell the Salt Lake Tribune (https://bit.ly/2sosp9A ) that Carl David Johnson Jr. was being held at the Salt Lake County jail pending an initial court appearance in the Sunday afternoon slaying of 58-year-old Thomas Dunn.

Johnson also was accused of using a concealed weapon in commission of a violent felony.

Police say Johnson and Dunn were drinking with neighbors when the two men became intoxicated and got into a verbal argument that turned physical.

Johnson allegedly went into an apartment, returned with a gun and fatally shot Dunn.
