VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - A woman’s body has been discovered and police in Virginia are seeking a man in connection with her death.
The Virginian-Pilot reports (https://bit.ly/2swFhKA ) police identified 42-year-old Zorobabel Matthan Griggs as wanted in connection with the death of a woman whose body twas discovered inside an apartment Monday morning in Virginia Beach’s Lake Edward neighborhood.
Griggs is described as five feet, eight inches tall and 200 pounds, with gray facial hair, a shaved head and a scar on his cheek. He also has “Kayos” tattooed on his chest and arm.
A written statement from police says he is considered dangerous and known to be violent.
Antonio Johnson, who lives in a neighboring apartment complex, says he’s lived nearby for eight years and that the area is usually peaceful.
It’s unclear if Griggs has an attorney.
