You just can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Just a few hours after Ivanka Trump went on “Fox & Friends” to say she was taken off guard by the sheer “viciousness” of D.C., one of Washington’s true-blue insiders, writer John Podhoretz, took to Twitter to — get this — slam her, most viciously.

Kinda proving her point, in fact.

Podhoretz wrote, of Ivanka: “Her father said Ben Carson was a psychopath and Ted Cruz’s father killed JFK and she wasn’t expecting viciousness. She’s a filthy liar.”

Ouch.”

“Ivanka’s hair on Fox and Friends looked like it went through a pasta roller,” Podhoretz also tweeted.

All that, ’cause Ivanka said this: “There’s a level of viciousness that I was not expecting. I was not expecting the intensity of this experience.”

Podhoretz is a New York Post columnist, the editor of Commentary magazine and a contributing editor of the Weekly Standard.

Know what else he is?

An arrogant boor.

An arrogant boor whose Twitter messages simply underline what Trump was talking about — that viciousness is the unnecessary order of the day when it comes to the media, the left and the establishment right toward the White House.

But then again, his tweets speak for themselves.
