OPINION:
Hillary Clinton seems to be chugging the last of the steam from her presidency-losing pity-party train.
On a recent MSNBC “Rachel Maddow Show” broadcast, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell — a lover of all things left-leaning, if ever there was one — publicly chided Clinton for blaming her loss on Russia.
Wow. When you lose the adoration of the left, there’s really no where else to turn.
Mitchell, who serves as chief foreign affairs correspondent on NBC and host of “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC, was discussing the recent rants of Clinton against the vast right-wing conspiracy — the one that saw the failed presidential candidate blame Russians for swaying Americans into believing Donald Trump would be the best president.
And she said this, as Breitbart noted: “Well she first of all, really drilled down on the fake news, the role of Infowars and said that it was very clear to her that there were Americans directing and colluding, conspiring really, with the Russian hackers, with Guccifer, with the others who were involved in the hacking, in the dropping of WikiLeaks … and saying that they were doing so with such political sophistication. She’s basically pointing to the Trump campaign, saying that the dots are now being connected in the investigation.”
And then?
Mitchell went on to note how Clinton brought up Jared Kushner, Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway — all as supposed links in the line that led to Russian-Republican collusion.
Prepare for the thump.
“So, she is drawing a conspiracy theory,” Mitchell said. “She doesn’t have the evidence, but she is obviously hoping that this is what — that Robert Mueller and what the congressional committee’s going to do.”
Ouch.
You know you’ve lost touch with reality when even a member of the out-of-touch media calls out your tin hat.
Clinton’s not just falling — she’s in free fall mode. And the mainstream media, much as members coddled her all the way toward the White House, are now running fast, fleeing what even they seem to be recognizing as a woman who’s parting ways with reality, rapidly digressing into delusion.
