RICHMOND, Texas (AP) - Authorities say two people have died in a mobile home fire near Houston.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters around 2 a.m. Friday responded to a blaze at a mobile home park near Richmond.

Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Haenel (HAN’-el) says two people were found dead in the burned home. Names of the victims weren’t immediately released.

Haenel says investigators will try to determine what sparked the blaze.

Richmond is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) southwest of Houston.
