PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - One of two men sought in a triple slaying at an Alabama barber shop has been arrested, authorities said Thursday.
Keon Dashon Cain, 19, of Prattville was charged with three counts of murder, the Montgomery Advertiser quoted Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson as saying.
Court records did not list an attorney who could speak on Cain’s behalf Thursday. Police described him as an accomplice of Marty Morgan, 35, of Prattville.
Morgan remained on the loose, and police said he was likely armed and dangerous.
Three men were shot to death late Monday at Hook-Up Barber and Style in what police are calling a robbery attempt. Authorities have identified the dead as 50-year-old Al Benson of Elmore County; and 58-year-old Eddie Dean Scott and 45-year-old Anthony Smith, both of Autauga County.
A fourth person who was wounded is expected to recover, police said. Authorities have not released that person’s name.
Morgan knew the men in the barber shop and went there with the other man for a holdup, Thompson has said.
