FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Two Muslim women subjected to a threatening rant that was recorded and widely circulated online say they have forgiven the woman who verbally attacked them.

Sarah Hassan is one of the women who was threatened in a Walmart parking lot in Fargo. She says she and Leyla Hassan have forgiven Amber Hensley and she wants people to know that forgiveness matters most.

Sarah Hassan tells KVRR-TV that “we forgive her … because we are all human beings in the end.”

Hensley has said she was upset that the women were parked too close to her car and she lost her cool. One of the women recorded video of Hensley shouting “We’re going to kill all of you.”

The women met last week with Fargo police Chief David Todd to reconcile.
