White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci’s wife has filed for divorce, reports the New York Post.
The outlet claims that Mr. Scaramucci’s wife, Deidre Ball, is not a fan of President Trump’s and the couple has fought about Mr. Scaramucci’s relationship with Mr. Trump. The main reason for the split, however, is Mr. Scaramucci’s “naked political ambition,” according to the report.
“Leave civilians out of this. I can take the hits, but I would ask that you would put my family in your thoughts and prayers & nothing more,” Mr. Scaramucci tweeted Friday.
Ms. Ball worked as a vice president at Mr. Scaramucci’s former company SkyBridge Capital, which he sold earlier this year in what many believed was preparation for a post in the Trump administration.
