ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a 94-year-old man’s motorized tricycle that was stolen while he went shopping in a store in Florida.

News outlets report Richard Griffin’s tricycle was taken as he went shopping at a CVS on July 18.

St. Petersburg police released surveillance video of the theft Wednesday. The video shows a man checking out the tricycle, swinging his legs over the seat and slowly walking off. Police said in a statement that the person who took the tricycle would not be able to pawn it because it requires a key.

Griffin says he relies on the tricycle for all his errands and does not have $2,700 to replace it.
