JEMISON, Ala. (AP) - A woman has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of another woman at a gas station in Alabama.

AL.com reports that a 32-year-old woman was arrested Monday after Jemison police found the 22-year-old victim with a fatal gunshot wound inside a vehicle at a Chevron gas station on Chilton County Road 42. A small caliber handgun was confiscated from her. She’s been charged with first-degree murder.

Police say the two women were traveling together. Investigators are still determining what led to the shooting.

The identities of the suspect and the victim have not yet been released. It’s unclear if the suspect has a lawyer.
