LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - The Latest on a fatal shooting in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Colorado (all times local):

12 p.m.

Authorities in Colorado are searching for a 34-year-old suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Longmont police told the Longmont Times-Call on Sunday (https://bit.ly/2uV8Nvf ) that Joseph Keith Anderson is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Further details including Anderson’s alleged motive were not disclosed.

Authorities received a report on the shooting at about 3 a.m. Sunday. The 23-year-old victim died after being transported to the hospital for unspecified injuries. His identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Anderson was last seen driving a black Nissan Murano with a white or tan top and Colorado license plate DBQ 998.

Authorities in Colorado are investigating a fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

The Longmont Times-Call reported https://bit.ly/2uV8Nvf that police had identified a person involved in the early Sunday morning shooting and were attempting to locate him.

The unidentified victim was shot about 3 a.m. and died of his injuries after being transported to a hospital.

The victim’s name was to be released by the Weld County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.

Police said there was no danger to the surrounding community. The Wal-Mart was open for business Sunday morning with one end of the parking lot taped off and police working the scene for evidence.
