SOUTHPORT, England (AP) - A glance at the third round Saturday of the British Open at Royal Birkdale.
LEADING: Jordan Spieth, who shot a bogey-free 65 to stand at 11-under-199.
JUST BEHIND: Matt Kuchar shot a 66 and was three shots back. U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka and Austin Connelly were another three shots behind.
RECORD DAY: Branden Grace shot an 8-under-62 to set a record for the lowest score in a major championship. He was seven shots back.
NOTEWORTHY: Fifteen players shot 66 or better on a day when there was plenty of sun and little wind.
SHOT OF THE DAY: Grace lagged a putt from off the back of the green on 18 to 2 feet to set the record.
