No explosives found after bomb threats called to 3 GA stores

LAGRANGE, Ga. (AP) - No explosives have been found after bomb threats were called in to three businesses in a Georgia city.

The LaGrange Daily News reports that LaGrange Police Department Sgt. Steve Taylor says the threats were made Thursday around 6 p.m. to Verizon, Kia of LaGrange and Mike Patton Auto Family, all on LaFayette Parkway.

All three buildings were cleared and searched by K-9 Units and law enforcement officers. The buildings were given the all clear by 8:33 p.m.

Surrounding businesses were told to evacuate during the search.

Police are still investigating the threats. No further details have been released.
