Derrick Rose might be the latest former NBA superstar to team up with LeBron James.
Rose and the Cleveland Cavaliers are discussing a one-year contract to bring the former MVP to Cleveland, ESPN reported on Thursday.

Rose was the league MVP in 2011, but he hasn’t been the same player since. His injury history has been well-documented, tearing his ACL during the 2012 playoffs and then tearing his meniscus during the 2013-14 season.
After being traded to the Knicks last offseason, Rose averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists per game in New York last year.
For the Cavaliers, Rose would give them a back-up point guard to Kyrie Irving, a spot they struggled filling last year. Cleveland took a gamble on Deron Williams, another superstar who was well past his prime, but Williams was ineffective, especially in the finals.
The Cavaliers already signed Jose Calderon earlier in the offseason, but Rose might be worth taking a look at.
To this point, Rose has struggled to find a team to sign with. He reportedly has also had discussion with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks. But negotiations came and went, leaving Rose to look at Cleveland.
