PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a woman is in critical condition after she was shot in the face while driving down a residential Philadelphia street.
Authorities say the 42-year-old woman was struck by a single bullet that went through her windshield at around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday as she drove down the street in the Logan section of north Philadelphia.
She was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition. No arrests have been made.
Shortly after 1 p.m., a 25-year-old woman was shot multiple times throughout her body on a street in the Summerdale section of northeast Philadelphia. She was pronounced dead about a half-hour later at Albert Einstein Hospital. Her name wasn’t immediately released and no arrests have been made.
