DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Rockies recalled rookie right-hander Antonio Senzatela from Triple-A Albuquerque to start Tuesday night’s game against San Diego.

It will be his first start since June 22.

Senzatela’s nine wins this season are tied with teammate Kyle Freeland for the most among rookies in the majors. Senzatela has been bouncing around between the bullpen and Triple-A in recent weeks to keep his innings in check.

The 22-year-old Senzatela was the NL rookie of the month for April.

To make room for Senzatela, the Rockies optioned outfielder Raimel Tapia to Albuquerque. Tapia is hitting .314 with two homers and nine RBIs in 40 games over three stints with the Rockies.
