ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has raised more than $5.1 million for his bid for a third term.
The latest haul was included in newly filed campaign finance reports for the Democratic governor.
Cuomo has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2020 but he says he is focused on running for re-election in 2018.
Cuomo’s campaign says that when the new contributions are included their candidate has almost $25.7 million on hand.
Cuomo was first elected in 2010. He served as state Attorney General before that.
