ANCHRORAGE, Alaska (AP) - An Anchorage man died in a weekend plane crash near the Yentna River.

Alaska State Troopers say the pilot and only occupant of the plane was 75-year-old Donald Frantz.

Troopers took a report on the crash early Saturday afternoon from the Alaska Coordination Center.

Troopers and Talkeetna Fire and Rescue transported Frantz’s body to Lake Hood in Anchorage and the state medical examiner’s office.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
