PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Two workers trapped on the side of a downtown Portland building after a scaffolding motor failed have been rescued.

Emergency crews responded at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday to the Umpqua Bank building and hoisted the workers to safety.

Officials say the workers were installing a sign when the scaffold motor malfunctioned.

No injuries were reported.
