Rumors continue to circulate that Carmelo Anthony will join fellow NBA superstars Chris Paul and James Harden on the Houston Rockets, and Rockets power forward Nene just added fuel to that already-burning fire.
The former Washington Wizard posted an edited picture of Anthony in a Rockets jersey on Instagram Monday night. He deleted it soon after, but not before the post had been screenshot and shared throughout the Internet.

Anthony and Nene played together on the Denver Nuggets from 2003 until 2011, when the New York Knicks traded for Anthony.
Anthony averaged 22.4 points per game with the Knicks this past season, and has been linked with potential trades to several teams around the NBA this summer, including the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rockets.
Rumors of a proposed move to Houston have gained steam in recent days, with ESPN’s Ian Begley reporting the trade is close to being finalized.
On @SportsCenter right now, @IanBegley says both the Knicks and Carmelo are confident that “this thing will get done” with the #Rockets.

The Rockets have already made waves this offseason with the acquisition of Paul, a nine-time All-Star, from the Los Angeles Clippers as they seek to challenge the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference.
