BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Minnesota woman has been charged with driving to Vermont and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy.

The Bennington Banner reports 21-year-old Rosa Maria Pastrana, of Staples, Minnesota, pleaded not guilty last week to charges including repeated aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault on a victim less than 16 years old.

The boy’s mother contacted Bennington police last month saying she was concerned her son was having an online relationship with a woman.

Police say the mother called them again last week after finding her son with Pastrana in a car parked on a side road. They say Pastrana told the mother she was in love with the teen.

Police say the boy later acknowledged he and Pastrana had sexual contact multiple times in her hotel room.
