NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - Police have accused a New Hampshire man who lost his job at a furniture store of setting a fire at its warehouse and damaging a manager’s car.

Police say they arrested 19-year-old Ryan Hawes, of Nashua, on charges of arson and criminal mischief Wednesday. They responded to the Yogibo furniture store Wednesday morning for a report of a disorderly person.

Managers told them that after terminating Hawes, he went into the warehouse and lit a box on fire, and damaged the manager’s car in the parking lot. Police arrested Hawes at the scene.

Hawes faced arraignment Thursday. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer who could comment on his behalf and a phone number for a relative was not in service.
