SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle fire officials say one person was found dead after fire crews extinguished a burning RV under the West Seattle bridge.

Fire spokeswoman Alice Kim says officials are working to determine what cause the blaze that started around 4 a.m. Thursday.

KOMO-TV reports that it happened under the Spokane Street Viaduct near an area lined with vans and campers and where people are known to sleep overnight in their vehicles. It’s the second fire in the area this week. No one was injured in Monday’s fire.

Authorities say a Port of Seattle police officer noticed Thursday morning’s fire while driving by on patrol.
