Ohio Gov. John Kasich is publishing a book, due out in April, on his political career, the 2016 presidential campaign and how faith plays a role in his personal life and politics.
The goal for the book, titled “Two Paths: America Divided or United,” is “to consider how these strange times have come about, and how to set things right,” according to a release from Macmillan Publishers.
“We’ve got to recognize that the very real problems facing this country cannot be ignored,” Mr. Kasich writes. “We cannot be confused or distracted by bitterness and rancor. We cannot allow exclusion to take the place of inclusion.”
Mr. Kasich was the last Republican candidate standing against President Trump in the 2016 GOP presidential primary contest, though his lone win came in his home state of Ohio in March.
He did not formally endorse Mr. Trump ahead of the fall election, and ended up writing in Sen. John McCain for president.
