ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The Anchorage Office of Emergency Management says a dense fog advisory has been extended for Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley.

The office says fog will persist through Tuesday afternoon.

That office warns that visibility will be a quarter-mile or less at times and that drivers should use headlights at all times.

Fog began in Anchorage on Monday afternoon.

The advisory is in place through 3 p.m. Tuesday.
