The event from June 19-25 will feature Navy simulators and interactive displays; Navy divers and explosive teams; sailors from the USS Constitution in Boston; and visits to local schools. The air show is being held later in the summer, in August, in Brunswick.

Cmdr. John Gay says the event is Navy Week aims to teach people about its role in protecting the nation through around-the-clock deployments around the world.
