TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on an officer-involved shooting in the Tucson area (all times local):

3:40 p.m.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says a suspect was shot and wounded when at least one deputy returned fire after the suspect shot at deputies chasing him on foot.

Deputy Cody Gress says the incident occurred Saturday on Tucson’s southwest side after the Sheriff’s Department got a call about a possible domestic violence situation.

Gress says deputies who responded to the call noticed a 26-year-old suspect driving off. He says the suspect led suspect on a pursuit before he got of his vehicle and ran while firing at the deputies.

Gress says the suspect was wounded in the arm and that neither deputy was injured.

The deputies have been placed on standard leave pending an investigation into the shooting.

No identities were released.

Pima County authorities say two sheriff’s deputies were involved in a shooting Saturday in which neither deputy was injured but a suspect was shot in the arm.

Deputy Cody Gress says the suspect is hospitalized with a wound not believed to be life threatening.

The shooting occurred on Tucson’s southwest side.

No additional information was released.
