LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Latest on a school bus crash in South Los Angeles (all times local):

3:40 p.m.

Authorities say nobody appears seriously hurt after a car hit a school bus in South Los Angeles, knocking it into parked cars.

The California Highway Patrol says four students complained of pain after Friday’s crash but they weren’t hospitalized. The drivers of the bus and car were taken to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

The accident unfolded shortly before 7 a.m. when a car making a left turn caused another car to swerve out of the way. That car went out of control, crossed the center line and hit the approaching bus, which plowed into two empty parked cars. The bus ended up nearly on top of one vehicle.

The CHP is looking for the driver that caused the accident.

Authorities say no students were harmed in a school bus crash in South Los Angeles early Friday.

Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says there were no injuries to the seven students or the driver aboard the bus.

The crash around 6:30 a.m. involved multiple vehicles, including some that may have been parked, and a utility pole.

A man who was in one of the other vehicles was taken to a hospital with an injury described as not life-threatening.

A school bus and other vehicles have collided in South Los Angeles.

KNX news radio (https://cbsloc.al/2jmxkiz) reports from the scene of the Friday morning crash that there were seven students aboard the bus but none were harmed.

The crash left one car partially under the bus and several others damaged on Normandie Avenue.

KNX says the bus was headed to a middle school.
