WOBURN, Mass. (AP) - A New Hampshire man has been convicted in Massachusetts on human trafficking and drug charges.

The Boston Globe reports (https://bit.ly/2kvoAeW ) jurors convicted 30-year-old Darren Hughes this week of charges including trafficking a person for sexual servitude and possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance.

Hughes, of Laconia, New Hampshire, was arrested in February 2015 at a hotel in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Police say an undercover officer arranged to buy Butane Honey Oil laced with THC from Hughes. THC is the main psychoactive component in marijuana.

Hughes told the officer he had more drugs and girls in his hotel room.

Prosecutors say Hughes took sexually suggestive photos of a woman, posted them in an online advertisement for sexual services and pocketed the cash that customers paid for sexual activity.
