The Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards have developed a pretty intense rivalry this year.

At times, it’s gotten a bit chippy. But the most recent antic was the Wizards arriving to the Verizon Center dressed entirely in black, symbolizing a funeral for the visiting Celtics.

True to their word, the Wizards put the Celtics to rest in a 123-108 victory, but point guard Marcus Smart would not go down quietly. Instead of directing any sort of anger toward the Wizards themselves, he turned on his assistant coaches in a heated exchange.

According to Celtics coach Brad Stevens, Smart exploded simply because he wanted to go back into the game and wanted to take part in the final minutes of the Wizards’ funeral procession.
