LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested one of two suspects sought in an apparent drug-related double slaying last week at a West Las Vegas neighborhood apartment.
Las Vegas police said Tuesday that 31-year-old Allen Durwin was arrested Monday at an address several miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.
Police say Durwin is being held medical unit at the Clark County jail pending an initial court appearance on charges including murder, conspiracy, attempted murder and drug possession in the Jan. 18 shooting.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Durwin has an attorney.
The Clark County coroner says Alyssa Nicole Velasco of Las Vegas and Myron Manghum of North Las Vegas died in the shooting. Both were shot in the head.
Police say a man survived with gunshot wounds to his hands.
