Incoming White House counselor Kellyanne Conway predicted Friday that President-elect Donald Trump will send a shock through the system “almost immediately” upon being sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.

“He’s going to inject a shock to the system here almost immediately,” Ms. Conway said on “Fox & Friends.” “In one week’s time, you will definitely know this is President Trump’s government.”

Ms. Conway said that Mr. Trump’s inaugural address on Friday would be 20 minutes long “tops.”

“It’s very bold, action-oriented, but it’s also beautiful for its simplicity,” she said. “And he wrote it, with the help of a few others. But these are his words and you’ll recognize the voice of Donald Trump in [this] address again and again today.”

“He basically calls us all to action,” she said. “He is willing to lead, but he’d like us to follow.”

“He actually will convey today, I predict, that this is not about him - and that’s a very non-Trumpian thing, the way people look at him,” she said. “This is not about him - he ran for the people.”

“He certainly is moved by the enormity and gravity and responsibility of this, and he is making history. We’ve never had a president who had no political or military experience,” she said.
