HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police have identified a 28-year-old woman who was shot to death at a busy Hartford intersection.

Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley says Luz Rosado of Hartford was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest early Sunday. She later died.

Foley says a police officer saw a man standing by a car window pull out a gun during an argument and shoot into the car.

Officials say the officer ordered the suspect to drop the gun but the suspect got into another parked car, jumped out and ran off. The officer apprehended him after a foot chase.

Ulises Robles of West Hartford faces charges including murder. It wasn’t immediately known if Robles has an attorney.
