CHICAGO (AP) - University of Illinois President Tim Killeen proposed plans Thursday to increase enrollment and drive growth at the system’s three campuses. Here are details the university system provided about plans for each campus:

URBANA-CHAMPAIGN
- Enrollment projected to increase by more than 6,300 students from about 46,950 to 53,250 students.
- Efforts to increase enrollment are targeting graduate and professional programs with an emphasis on online programs.
- Growth plans include expanding master’s degree offerings to include data science, accountancy and information management, among other areas.

CHICAGO
- Enrollment projected to increase by about 4,780 students to 33,900 students from 29,120.
- About 90 percent of enrollment growth is projected in undergraduate programs.
- Growth plans include expansion of 18 undergraduate programs and creation of five new programs.

SPRINGFIELD
- Enrollment projected to increase by about 1,050 students from about 5,430 to 6,490 students.
- Student recruiting efforts to be increased in areas outside of Chicago and around St. Louis.
- Growth plans include recent addition of five new bachelor’s degree programs, one master’s degree program, pre-nursing curriculum and graduate certificate programs, as well as expanding online offerings.
