LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police are searching for a suspect in the fatal shooting a 25-year-old gas station clerk during an attempted robbery.
Officer Irma Mota says the incident was reported just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at a Chevron station in the Los Feliz area.
Mota says a man fired several shots as he tried to hold up the gas station.
The male victim died at a hospital of gunshot wounds. He has not been identified.
Investigators have not released a suspect description.
