Entertainment and celebrity gossip-focused People magazine on Wednesday once again waded into the gun control debate by publishing all 535 phone numbers for members of the House of Representatives and Senate, along with the Twitter handles for members who use the microblogging service.

“Below is a list with updated contact information for all 535 members of Congress so readers can make their voices heard on how to prevent gun violence,” the magazine wrote, tying the call to action to the Jan. 6 fatal spree shooting in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

In June, People similarly issued a call to readers for new federal gun control legislation following the spree shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, asking readers to call their congressmen to ask “what they’re doing about the gun violence epidemic, and let them know what you think of their strategy,” reported Observer.com at the time.

The magazine also published congressional contact information in print and online after the October 2015 shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, the Observer reported.

“As a country we clearly aren’t doing enough, and our elected officials’ conversations about solutions usually end in political spin,” said People editorial director Jess Cagle after the Umpqua shooting, reported Mother Jones magazine.
