WILLCOX, Ariz. (AP) - Cochise County authorities say a second suspect has been arrested in connection with a 2010 homicide case in Willcox.

County Sheriff’s officials say 44-year-old David Antonio Verdugo, of Sahuarita, has been booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

They say 30-year-old Jeffrey Allen Groves, of Willcox, was arrested in July and remains in custody on the same charge as Verdugo.

Sheriff’s officials say their investigation continues and more arrests are pending.

In November 2010, authorities found a man’s body next to his car that was parked near railroad tracks in Willcox.

The victim was identified as 51-year-old Gregory Neeley of Willcox.

Investigators say Neeley suffered severe trauma to his head area and later died at a Tucson hospital.
