FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) - Police in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, are already investigating two homicides in the new year.
KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/2iWK8O3 ) reports that 52-year-old Roosevelt Philips was fatally shot Saturday afternoon inside his home. His wife says she found him dead after returning home around 4 p.m. Five or six bullet holes were found in the door.
Police believe Philips had been targeted from an earlier altercation.
Last week, a man in his 20s was fatally shot inside his home. Police say that man also was targeted.
No arrests have been made in either killing.
