HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) - Trevis Wyche scored 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and dished out six assists to help St. Peter’s snap a three-game skid with a 76-45 win over Quinnipiac on Thursday night.

Quadir Welton and Sam Idowu also pumped in 14 points apiece for St. Peter’s (13-12, 9-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic) and Cavon Baker had 12. The Peacocks shot 52 percent from the field, including 9 of 18 from long range, and never trailed.

A pair of free throws from Baker made it 34-21 with 5:21 left in the opening half and St. Peter’s stretched the advantage to 44-23 at the break. In the second half, the Peacocks got a 3-pointer from Nnamdi Enechionyia to take their largest lead of the game, 69-32, and coasted from there.

Quinnipiac (10-15, 7-8) hit just 27 percent of its 62 shots from the field. Reggie Oliver led the Bobcats with eight points.
