LACONIA, N.H. (AP) - A Northfield man has been sentenced to 20 years to life behind bars for providing a fatal dose of fentanyl to another man two years ago.

Brian Watson was given the maximum sentence Tuesday in Laconia in connection with the April 2015 fatal overdose of 21-year-old Seth Tilton-Fogg of Tilton.

A Belknap County jury in January convicted the 52-year-old of sales of drugs with death resulting and sales of drugs.

Watson was arrested in May 2015 after investigators determined he sold Tilton-Fogg the drugs.

The defense said Watson sold drugs because he lost his job.
