LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Eli Chuha finished 7 of 7 for 17 points and 11 rebounds, Braxton Huggins made four 3s and scored 16 points, and New Mexico State bounced back after having its 23-game home win streak snapped with an 86-53 win over Seattle on Saturday night.

Matt Taylor added 15 points for the Aggies (24-5, 10-3 Western Athletic), who lost 84-72 at home to Utah Valley on Thursday, the first loss at the Pan American Center for New Mexico State since December 2015.

Chuha’s 3-point play with 55 seconds left in the first half gave New Mexico State a 40-22 lead. He opened the second half with a layup to put the Aggies up 21, and the lead remained above 20 the rest of the way.

Morgan Means made three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points for Seattle (13-15, 5-8) and Scott Ulaneo added 12 points.

New Mexico State led in rebounding 44-29, points in the paint 36-12 and points off turnovers 18-2.
