CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Bryce Aiken scored 22 points, added five assists, and Harvard earned the season sweep of rival Yale with a 77-64 victory on Friday night.
The Crimson (17-7, 9-2 Ivy League), who have won five straight and are 16-3 since opening the season 1-4, sit two games behind undefeated Princeton with three games remaining. Harvard plays the Tigers on March 3.
Aiken hit five 3-pointers and finished 7 of 14 overall. Seth Towns finished with 18 points and Zena Edosomwan added 15 for Harvard, which shot 55.4 percent from the field.
Alex Copeland led Yale (14-10, 6-5) with 20 points while Sam Downey added 15.
The Bulldogs led by five at halftime but the Crimson erased that within two minutes, taking a 37-36 lead on a Towns steal and dunk. Harvard, which never trailed again, opened a 15-point lead on an Aiken 3 with 8:18 left and cruised to the finish.
