Calls to boycott Trump-branded products have not stopped Ivanka Trump’s perfume from skyrocketing to Amazon’s top slot for women’s fragrances.

The commercial interests of President Donald Trump and his daughter have been targeted by activists groups for months since the Republican’s 2016 U.S. presidential election victory. As was the case with recent calls to avoid Trump Winery products at Wegmans Food Markets, the efforts appear to have backfired. Eau de Parfum Spray, which sells for $46.99, now holds the pole position over competitors such as Vera Wang and Giorgio Armani.

“Bought this to support Ivanka after the vicious attacks on her business,” wrote one five-star reviewer on Tuesday. “I never buy perfume without trying a sample first but did so this time. Big Bonus — I love the scent!”

The surge in sales comes just weeks after Nordstrom department stores dropped Ivanka Trump apparel. The company claimed that sales of Ivanka-branded inventory dropped one-third in the past fiscal year.

“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom,” Mr. Trump tweeted Feb. 8 in response to the news.

“We have not and will not share specific sales results numbers related to this brand or any other brand,” company spokeswoman Tara Darrow told Reuters on Feb. 11 when asked about sales performance.
