NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Health inspectors have shut down a burger restaurant in Newark due to health code violations.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that (https://delonline.us/2kRhTQa ) the original WayBack Burgers location in Newark was shut down after Division of Public Health officials inspected the restaurant earlier this month and found food storage equipment that didn’t have appropriate cold temperatures, among other things.

Gillian Plummer is vice president of marketing for Wayback Burgers. She tells the newspaper that the Ogletown location was planning to close soon anyway. She said the chain had asked the owner to address the problems at the location but he had failed to do so.

Plummer says the company is scouting sites for a new Wayback Burgers location in Newark.
