SANFORD, Maine (AP) - Police in Maine will continue searching for a missing woman who was last seen more than a week ago.

The Portland Press Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2kYYZHh ) that Sanford police say they will use bloodhounds on Thursday to help search for 40-year-old Kerry Rear. Chief Thomas Connolly Jr. says he hopes the bloodhounds will be able to pick up her scent.

The Sanford woman was reported missing on Sunday. Officers and the Maine Warden Service searched wooded areas near Route 4 on Tuesday.

Police say Rear has not been seen or heard from since Jan. 22. She was reportedly last seen at a Sanford convenience store.
