TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno has deleted a tweet she sent highlighting Gov. Chris Christie’s low approval ratings.

Guadagno, a gubernatorial candidate, tweeted a story from NorthJersey.com with the headline “Christie’s approval rating falls to historic low.” She later deleted the tweet.

On Thursday she said on NJ 101.5 FM that she’s 57 years old and didn’t have computers when she went to college and depends on younger aides to help with Twitter. She told NJ.com it was a case of hitting the wrong button.

Guadagno is running in the GOP primary to succeed Christie, whose approval stood at 17 percent in the poll she tweeted about. The Quinnipiac University poll surveyed 1,240 voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.
