President Trump on Thursday reaffirmed that his administration has put Iran “on notice” after a missile test earlier in the week and said the U.S. had thrown the country a “life-line” with the recently brokered nuclear deal.

“Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile.Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!” Mr. Trump tweeted.

“Iran was on its last legs and ready to collapse until the U.S. came along and gave it a life-line in the form of the Iran Deal: $150 billion,” the president also tweeted.

In addition to Iran’s missile test earlier this week, Iranian-backed Houthi militants reportedly killed two Saudi sailors in an attack on a ship this week.
