FORT LAWN, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say both drivers in a head-on crash in Chester County have died.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Bill Rhyne says the wreck happened on U.S. 21 about two miles north of Fort Lawn around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rhyne says the driver of one of the cars crossed the center line and hit the oncoming car.

Coroner Terry Tinker told local media outlets Thursday that 48-year-old Jennifer Lyles Zills of Rock Hill died at the scene. The other driver, 28-year-old Khyleta Woods of Chester, died at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.
