HOUSTON (AP) - Josh Ibarra scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Houston Baptist posted a 92-78 non-conference victory over Randall University on Saturday night.
The Huskies fashioned a 17-point advantage at intermission and cruised to the victory.
Randall is the defending National Christian College Athletic Association Division II champion and the No. 1-ranked team in NCCAA Division II this season.
Ibarra shot 8 of 12 from the field. Reveal Chukwujekwu was 5 of 10 from the field and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line to post 15 points, and Braxton Bonds added 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting. As a team, Houston Baptist shot 37 of 77 from the field, including 9 of 25 from 3-point range.
Trey Sneed and Xavier Hunter each scored 18 points and were the only Saints to reach double-figure scoring.
